To describe the Bloom children as precocious would be an understatement. Priscilla, the eldest Bloom, convinces her younger siblings to accept a wager: if they are able to provide proof of three people odder than them she’ll do their chores for a week. However should they fail the task they’ll be stuck with three weeks of Priscilla’s chores as punishment.
